Firesteel WB60 is a fast drying, brush, roller or spray applied, water based intumescent coating designed specifically to protect structural steels. In the presence of heat, Firesteel expands to several times its original volume to form an insulating char forming a thick layer insulating the structural steel from the heat of even the most severe fire.

As an exceptionally fast drying coating, Firesteel can be used on fast tracked building projects without causing delays to the building schedule.
